In a jam packed Regional Court in Witbank Magistrates Court the first case to be heard was the case of the businessman who was arrested for poaching.
On Thursday, November 3 Mr Francois van der Walt appeared in front of Magistrate Merlene Greyvenstein once again with his lawyer Henry Nieuhoff.
The case was postponed until March 13 and 14 when the trial will start.
He is facing two charges, one for illegal hunting and the second charge is for hunting game at night.
Van der Walt was released on R5 000 bail after he was arrested on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 by Vosman Police.
When he was arrested last year he apparently had in his possession Blesbok carcasses, night sight equipment, silencers on the firearms and no hunting permits.
