Car thieves go Christmas “shopping”

Five more vehicle thefts were reported last week with striking similarities to reports from last month.

Five more vehicle thefts took place. One was stolen outside a school making it the fourth car stolen outside of or from the parking lot of a school. A bakkie was stolen from the owner’s yard in Duvha Park.

This is one of many incidents from a recent trend where vehicle have been stolen straight from homes over night and even out of locked garages.

A vehicle was also stolen in the Central business District (CBD). The area is known for being a hotspot fro crime but apparently the batman was stolen in broad daylight in the middle of the day.
