No Christmas lights going up this year?

Due to a lack of sponsorship the Christmas lights project might not happen.

The Rotary Club of Witbank wish to inform the eMalahleni community, past sponsors as well as any potential sponsors of the Rotary Xmas lights Project 2016, that due to operational and marketing costs incurred over the past few years, that the project will unfortunately not be taking place this year should a sponsor not be found by Friday November 25.

The operational costs incurred are mainly due to the cost of crane/cherry picker hire which account for roughly 75% of the income. The aim of the project which has been running for more than ten years was initiated to raise funds for the needy in the community and is not currently being achieved.
