Police in Vosman are investigating a case of a business robbery after three unknown all armed men robbed the well-known funeral undertaker.
The police reported that the robbers came to the shop at Nkomo Street in Ackerville on Wednesday, November 30 at about 17:30.
The crime scene was visited by the police after the robbery. A family member told the police that he was shot by the gun.
It is reported from the police that three unknown robbers entered the building and all were armed with firearms. There were five customers as well as employees in the building at the time. The victim was shot on the left leg and the cash which was inside envelopes were taken. The suspects fled in a silver Avanza which was parked at a nearby corner.
The robbers managed to take off with an amount of R23 000 in cash which was in the envelopes. The victim was taken to hospital.
No arrest was made yet.
