Cash van and bus collide

Early morning traffic came to a complete stop in OR Tambo Street last week as a SBV cash van and a bus collided into one another.

The accident happened early on Thursday morning, December 15 on the corner of OR Tambo and Gordon Street.

It is still unclear how the accident happened, but one of the vehicles left the car wash at the petrol station damaged.

As so many cash in transit heists have been taking place, police and traffic immediately responded to the call.
Emergency services secured the scene as the vehicles had to be towed away.
