Deaths on New Years morning

An accident occurred at the crossing of Beatty and Woltemade Street claiming the lives of two people and in a separate accident in Ga-Nala a passenger was killed.

On Sunday, January 1 at 02:00 two vehicles collided in the intersection, one was a white BMW and the other vehicle was silver Ford Fiesta.

Inside the BMW the driver never sustained any injuries and in the Ford there were two men and one woman.
The passenger and the woman seated in the back seat were declared dead on scene.

While the driver of the Ford was treated on scene and then transported to hospital for further treatment.
On Monday, January 2 at 09:37 an accident occurred on the provincial road in Ga-Nala. When a Volkswagen Passat lost control and hit a tree. The driver was seriously injured and the passenger died on scene.

The next of kin were informed and the body still needs to be identified.
