Trio up for conspiracy to commit murder and possession of unlawful firearms

The accused appeared in Witbank Magistrate Court facing charges of possession of unlicensed firearms.

Three suspects have been arrested for conspiracy to commit murder and possession of unlawful firearms.

The trio appeared in Bethal Magistrate Court on Thursday, January 19. Accused number one, Bonginkosi Excellent Mnisi (33) who was found in possession of two unlicensed firearms was denied bail and remanded in custody.

The accused appeared in Witbank Magistrate Court on Friday, January 20 facing charges of possession of unlicensed firearms.

Accused number two Dumisani Robert Samba (46) was granted R10 000 bail though he failed to raise the bail money.

Accused number two Dumisani Robert Sambo (46) was granted R10 000 bail though he failed to raise the bail money and he will be in the dock until the next court appearance together with Nomalanga Khumalo (49) who was granted R30 000 bail but also failed to raise bail money.

The case against Mnisi was postponed to Wednesday, January 25 for a formal bail application. All three will appear again on Thursday, February 9.
