One man was robbed at point of firearm while another was threatened with a broken bottle.
On February 23 Mr Simon Mohlala was returning from the store when he was approached by two men.
The men asked him to hand them his money, he refused at first, this was before one of the suspects drew a firearm and threatened Mohlala. Mohlala opened his wallet and handed the robbers his money, they also stole his backpack from him as well as his watch he was wearing.
On February 15 Mr Patrick Kikunga was walking in the Central Business District along Walter Sisulu Street when two men approached him, one of the men was known to him as Randy and threatened him with a broken bottle.
“They took my documents and money,” said Kikunga
The two men stole R2 500 from Kikunga as well as his identification documentation (ID).
