A man was murdered after a fight broke out between him and another person in Allenby Street.
The incident happened on Sunday, April 2 when the deceased a 41-year-old man got into an altercation with a 20-year-old man.
Reason for the fight is not known. It is alleged that the 20-year-old assaulted the deceased. He was bleeding from the mouth when community members managed to separate the two. He later passed away.
The 20-year-old was arrested and appeared in court on Monday, April 3. His case was postponed to Monday, April 10 at Witbank Magistrate Court.
The deceased has not yet been identified.
