Special voting opens tomorrow across eMalahleni

For residents registered for a special vote, polling stations across eMalahleni will be open from tomorrow.

Special voting for the Local Government Elections kicks off tomorrow for residents registered to vote ahead of main Election Day.

The two-day special voting window runs from November 2 to 3, with polling stations open from 08:00 to 17:00 on both days.

Special voting is strictly designated for registered voters who successfully applied during the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) application window. This includes home visits for elderly, sick, or physically infirm voters who cannot travel to a polling site, as well as station voting for registered voters who cannot vote on main Election Day.

For voters approved to cast special ballots at their voting stations, officials will be on site across all local wards.
