Hole open for two months now

We need to import back filling material from the borrow pit. There has been delay due to backlog.

The problem enters its second month following a water leak that was fixed but a hole was left wide open.

The occupants alleged that nothing has been done so far to fix the hole in Conradie Street.

“Till this day the problem is still there, we do not know what to do anymore. We have tried everything we can to fix the problem.”

The municipality’s spokesperson, Mr Kingdom Mabuza said it was not the only one.

“We need to import back filling material from the borrow pit. There has been delay due to backlog but we have prioritised these holes.”

The exit gate is un-accessible with the front gate being used for both entering and exiting the place.
