Woman found after sending suicide message
A week of constant worrying for the Phahla family is now finally over as the 28-year-old woman they were looking for has been found.

A week of constant worrying for the Phahla family is now finally over as the 28-year-old woman they were looking for has been found.
Ms Sandra Olwethu Jonie went missing on Wednesday, May 10 from her house in Tasbet Park X2 at 13:30.
Jonie’s aunt Ms Thumeka Phahla confirmed on Monday, May 22 that she has been found.
“She drank poison and someone found her then called an ambulance for assistance,” said Phahla.
At this stage Jonie is recovering in a hospital in Germiston.

“We are extremely glad that she has been found,” said Phahla.
On the day she went missing one of Jonie’s friends received a suicide message; she then took the message to the Phahla’s a couple of hours later.
Jonie left her identity book and her cell phone in her bedroom. It is believed that Jonie received bad news from the clinic in eMalahleni and could not deal with it and never returned home.
