Four ‘lucky’ car mates will be joined by you, your friends, your colleagues and spend 48 hours in the Renault Kadjar sponsored by Eastvaal Motors Witbank.
The CANSA 48hr Car Sit In 2017 is just around the corner.
What does this mean for you? Well it means you have less than two weeks to get involved either by making a donation or getting involved by sponsorship, or nominating your husband, wife, friends, or kin to have a seat in the car to help raise funds and awareness.
Four ‘lucky’ car mates will be joined by you, your friends, your colleagues and spend 48 hours in the Renault Kadjar sponsored by Eastvaal Motors Witbank.
The CANSA 48hr Car Sit In will take place at Highveld Mall’s food court from 15:00 Friday, June 23 to 15:00 Sunday, June 25.
This doesn’t mean you have to sit for 48 hours; in fact you get to choose how long you would like to sit for, be it an hour or two.
This year the car mates will have plenty of legroom in the new Renault Kadjar and already R5 000 has been raised sponsored by Highveld Mall.
This year’s car mates are Milne Hammann, Ms Nkangala and a teacher at HTS Middelburg. Joining her will be Nolene Verwey, the face of CANSA Highveld, ambassador for CANSA Association and a crèche teacher.
The fourth car mate will be Stan Kruger from local rock band LEVEN along with all his band mates supporting and relaying the sit in time.
“So far Nino’s Wimpy, Nando’s and News Café have jumped on board and partnered up with us,” said Andries du Preez, CANSA Highveld Care Centre.
If you are interested in taking a look at the car it will be on display in Highveld Mall from June 16, a week prior to the CANSA Car Sit In 2017 and will be going home to Eastvaal Motors Witbank on June 26 after the fundraiser.
“We have had a number of nominees, roughly six people were nominated on the CANSA Highveld Facebook page. To nominate your friends simply tag them on the Car Sit In image, or make a donation to CANSA Highveld and nominate someone with your proof of payment,” said Andries.
Andries challenges all schools to nominate their teachers, learners, student governing body members and other schools to take part in this year’s CANSA 48hr Car Sit In. Businesses aren’t excluded either, if you want to have a laugh in the office, why not nominate your boss and bail him or her out of the car, make it a team effort.
