Police reported that they are investigating an armed robbery which happened on Sunday, July 2 at about 05:00.

Mr Peace Samuel Maseko (22) reported that he was with his two friends next to Value Meat, in Ackerville.

The complainant further said they were sitting in a Micro Bus which was parked next to Value Meat.

They then noticed four unknown suspects armed with firearms approaching them, they tried to run away and the suspects fired a shot towards him. He was shot in the head and fell on the ground unconscious.

He woke up at the hospital and it was discovered that the bullet did not penetrate his head.

A case of robbery with a firearm is being investigated by the police and no one has been arrested.
