The convoy departed from the N4 off-ramp proceeding onto the highway in an orderly and peaceful fashion.

The convoy proceeded back to eMalahleni onto Mandela Drive throughout eMalahleni; the convoy was greeted with positive cheers throughout the planned route and they ended at Pick n Pay Klipfontein without incident.

The crowd then gathered for a prayer dedicated to all farmers that have lost their lives and for the protection of the remaining farmers of South Africa.

It was a heartfelt event for all who participated.

SAPS were present during the whole protest but no violence or unlawful activities took place.

“It felt really amazing to be a part of something so meaningful,” said one of the participants.

Later in the day another gathering took place for community members that could not participate in the morning protest; the crowd gathered at Panorama Primary and proceeded to “The cross” on the hill in Highveldpark.

There the community joined in prayer for the South African farmers.
