Woman held up by knife point and raped
The woman recalls that it was dark and the person in her room shone a torch in her face.

In South Africa, rape is the second highest crime on the police data base and another rape was reported last week in eMalahleni.
On Tuesday, October 24 South Africa’s police service released the country’s crime statistics for 2016/17.
This fact sheet provides a breakdown of the main crimes of public interest.
The sexual offences crime category contains the crimes detailed in the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Act.
Crimes that fall under this broad category include rape, compelled rape, sexual assault, incest, bestiality, statutory rape and sexual grooming of children, among others.
In 2016/17, a total of 49,660 sexual offences were recorded by the police, down from 51,895 in 2015/16.
The majority of the sexual offences recorded were rapes, followed by sexual assaults.
An average of 109.1 rapes is reported each day in South Africa.
Another woman from eMalahleni became a statistic on Tuesday, October 31 a week after the shocking stats were released.
The woman living in Tasbet Park alleged that she was at home sleeping when she woke up during the night as she felt someone touching her feet.
The woman recalls that it was dark and the person in her room shone a torch in her face.
“I recall him telling me not to scream and he placed a knife by my throat,” said the woman.
The suspect then questioned the woman about the car that was standing next to her room; the woman was not sure what the suspect was talking about.
As the woman was still half asleep the suspect told her to come with him and he took her to another house in the same street where she was staying.
When they were inside the house, the suspect told her to stand in the passage way; he then returned with condoms in his hand.
The suspect undressed the woman and then raped her; once he had raped her he told her to leave and she left.
The woman does not know who the suspect was.
