Lights will be burning this Christmas

Local attorney, Mr Johan Coetzee successfully launched an urgent application in the High Court on Tuesday, December 12 to stop Eskom from flicking the switch.

The lights are staying on in Emalahleni Local Municipality.

But only until January when the High Court will again look at the situation between Eskom and Emalahleni Local Municipality and their tussle over bad debt.

Local attorney, Mr Johan Coetzee successfully launched an urgent application in the High Court on Tuesday, December 12 to stop Eskom from flicking the switch.

Coetzee is still at the High Court awaiting the date for the next court appearance.
