A man who allegedly ignored a red traffic light is believed to be the cause of an accident.

The accident happened on Saturday February 24 infront of the TUT Campus in OR Tambo Road.

The two women in the second car were flung out of their vehicle.

They were seriously injured. One woman was airlifted to Johannesburg late last night.
