Things are much calmer in Clewer after violent clashes two weeks ago.

Protestors started throwing stones at busses and five cars belonging to residents from Vosman. As Tolo tried to get on a bus, her hands slipped and she was crushed under the bus’ wheels.

“We are saddened by the death of the young mother,” Mr Zwelekhe Vilakazi, a spokesperson for the Kwa-Mthunzi Vilakazi Community leaders said.

Vilakazi said they want Elandsfontein Mine and Vosman residents to sit around a table with them and find a solution.
