
Six missing vehicles have been reported to the Witbank Police Station over the weekend. All six the vehicles have been stolen from parking lots in public places.
It is alleged that on Monday, 4 June, a white Toyota long base bakkie with registration number DSC 514 L had been stolen from the parking lot in Smuts Street while he was at the local municipality. No arrests have yet been made.
On the evening of 4 June, another vehicle, a red Nissan Sentra with registration number BWL 472 MP had been stolen from the parking lot at the gym. It is alleged that when the owner returned to where he parked, he noticed that the car had been stolen.

On Tuesday, 5 June, a maroon Mazda Midge with registration number DHS 098 MP had been stolen from the parking lot in Hofmeyer Street. The driver went to the social workers office and when she returned, she found that her vehicle was gone.
On the same day a white City Golf with registration number FLS 915 FS had been stolen from the parking lot of a well-known shopping centre. The driver alleges that he went to the shop and when he returned, his car was missing. Police are still investigating the case.
On Thursday, 7 June a Mazda went missing from in front of the owner’s home in eMalahleni. It is a green Mazda B200 bakkie with registration number DRY 422 L.
Allegedly another vehicle, a white Nissan 1400 was stolen from a shopping centre parking lot in Klipfontein on Friday, 8 June. Allegedly the owner of the vehicle went into the store and when he returned his bakkie was gone. No arrests have yet been made.
