Businesses in eMalahleni were targeted once again in the early hours of the morning just after opening.
Two separate businesses were robbed on Wednesday, June 6 and half an hour apart.
The first incident occurred at 09:00 in Stevenson Street when Mr H. Kabie alleged that he was busy inside the shop when two unknown men entered the shop.
They pretended that they were buying airtime, as Kabie was busy helping them, the one suspect wearing a red Puma jersey, pulled out a firearm and demanded that he hand over the money.
“I was so unsure what was happening, I just handed the box of money over because that is what he wanted,” recalls Kabie.
The other suspect that was wearing a blue jacket from a well-known company, came around to the till and took the money that was nice to the sweets on the counter.
