The municipality has had a backlog on providing accounts since the implementation of the Municipal Standard Chart of Accounts (mSCOA) new financial system.

With the implementation of the new system in July last year some payments made at the South African Post Office and Spar Supermarket outlets were not correctly uploaded into the system.
