Once upon a fairytale marks the theme of the 2018 famous Teddy Bear Tea Party presented by Andries du Preez alongside the title holders and finalists in Miss and Mrs Middelburg and Miss and Mrs Witbank pageant.

The Teddy Bear tea party is a social highlight on the calendar each and every year, and this year it will promise to be bigger and better than all the other years as this year marks the ninth annual Teddy Tea.

Actor, speaker and author Susan Coetzer will be the guest speaker at this year’s tea. Tickets at R125 per person is already available and corporates can do table bookings now to avoid disappointment at R1 250 for a table that seats 10 people.

Once again the event will support the following charities: The Teddy Bear Foundation, The Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) Highveld Care Centre and Feed a Child Middelburg / Witbank.

“We urge guests to please bring a new teddy bear or a non perishable food item as part of the entrance,” said Andries du Preez, organiser of the event.

“The Teddy Bear tea party has made a tremendous difference in and around our communities for the past nine successful years, supporting those in need. Without any difference this year will be no exception to the rule and that is to make a difference. National television will form part of this event once again.”

During the day there will be free giveaways, lucky draws, and the yearly teddy auction where the top 10 designer teddies goes on auction – all for a good cause.

If you would like to book a table contact Andries at 072 248 9424 or adupreez@cansa.org.za individual tickets will be on sale from the first week in August.

So mark August 25 in your diary and make sure you are part of this worthy fundraising project that will be held at the Hartland Saal at Pienaarsdam.

It starts at 10:00. Dress code is smart-casual.
