A silver Toyota Tazz went up in flames next to the Bethal Road (R544.)

On Saturday, July 28, a Toyota Tazz caught on fire was spotted next to the Bethal Road.

Members from the South African Community Crime Watch (SACCW) along with the fire brigade attended to the scene.

Upon their arrival they noticed that the car was unattended and still it is unclear of who the vehicle belongs to. The fire was put out but the car was completely ruined.

“We have no idea to whom the car belongs to, we found it here unattended,” explained Tommie Potgieter, SACCW responder.

Just about a week ago, on Sunday, July 22, a Corsa bakkie was also caught on fire and burned out in OR Tambo Road.

Multiple cases of cars that burned out have been reported over the past few weeks.

“I am aware of three cases where cars burned out this past couple of weeks,” explained Potgieter.
