Four car pile-up on Mandela Street leaves drivers with injuries

A four car pile-up at the corner of Mandela and Plumer Street left two drivers with injuries, and all four cars with extensive damage.

On August 7 at approximately 18:45, a Volkswagen Jetta came to a sudden stop for reasons still unknown.

This lead to the Chevrolet behind it ramming into its bumper, and set off a chain reaction.

A Volkswagen Polo and Datsun joined the fray when they too were unable to bring their vehicles to a stop in time.

The extent of the two unfortunate drivers’ injuries is still currently unknown.
