South African Top 9 idols contestant season 14, Ntokozo Makhathini (19) is from eMalahleni, Tasbet Park 1.

She was born on September 14, 1999 and attended school at Greendale Combine School.

“Ntokozo has a twin sister but they don’t look the same,” said sis Nqobi Makhathini her elder sister.

Nqobi added:

“It’s not the first time Ntokozo is singing in front of a large audience as she started singing at church at the age of seven and she was scared. Her mother was the one who said she should go and sing. She sang the song by Ntokozo Mbambo, in the shadow of your wings.”

Ntokozo completed matric last year and decided to take a gap year to be on idols. She always wanted to be on idols. Her family encouraged her to go on idols.
