Accidents claim more lives in eMalahleni

Last week two lives were lost as people died after being involved in accidents in and around eMalahleni.

On Wednesday, October 17 members from Witbank Police Station received a call for a body that was lying at Witbank Provincial Hospital.

When the police arrived at the hospital they were greeted by a sister who showed them where the body was lying.

The sister told the police officers that he was involved in a car accident and that he resides in Evander.

He was brought into the hospital by an ambulance service, but he succumbed to his injuries.

In a separate accident on Tuesday afternoon, October 16 on the R544 another accident occurred.

The driver of the taxi had to be cut out of the vehicle and later died in hospital.
