Curro Bankenveld is excited to announce the achievements of their Grade 12 learners of 2018.
A total of 66 learners registered for the IEB final examination 2018 from Curro Bankenveld; 75% of the pupils qualified to study a bachelor’s degree, 21% qualified to study towards a diploma and 3% will be studying Higher Certificates in 2019.

The Matric group achieved a total of 71 As, and boasts two learners ranking in the top 1% of the IEB results for 2018.
Meyer van Dyk and Elmé Nel ranked in the top 1% for Computer Applications Technology and English First Additional Language respectively.

Elmé Nel (distinctions for Afrikaans, English, EGD, Life Orientation, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences), Meyer van Dyk (distinctions for Afrikaans, Accounting, CAT, Mathematics, Life Orientation and Physical Science), Linda Nienaber (distinctions for Afrikaans, EGD, Mathematics, Physical Science and Life Orientation), Marco Steyn (distinctions for Accounting, Business Studies, Mathematics and Life Orientation), Alarice Chetty (distinctions for Afrikaans, Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Life Orientation) and Hans-Albert Rowan (distinctions for EGD, Life Orientation, Mathematics and Physical Sciences) achieved an average above 80% for their final examinations and will be acknowledged at the Curro Gala Event held at Emperor’s Palace on January 12.
