Raw sewage is flowing down Gordon Road like a river.
Allegedly this sewage river has been flowing down Gordon Road since November 2018.
Residents from a nearby estate claim that they have now reported this issue nearly 20 times to the local municipality.
“This has now been going on for nearly three and a half months, it has been reported so many times, I am not even going to bother phoning again because it doesn’t help,” said one of the frustrated residents.
“The smell is terrible, one can hardly breath when you drive past this sewage river.”
The resident also allegedly reported this to the complex manager but to no avail.
On Tuesday, February 19 WITBANK NEWS contacted the Emalahleni Local Municipality to get their side of the story. No reply was received before the time of going to print.
