Giving 300 blankets back

They made stops at Jabez House, Pottebakkers House and ended the day at Witbank General Hospital children’s ward.

The SACCW (South African Community Crime Watch) joined by Greater Emalahleni Men at Work took to the streets with little over 300 blankets.

This was on Thursday, July 18 and they drove around handing it out to the homeless and organisations that need it most.

They made stops at Jabez House, Pottebakkers House and ended the day at Witbank General Hospital children’s ward.

“Thank you to Trevors Towing that sponsored the transport for the day, Lulah Design and Printing for sponsoring our beautiful banner, Witbank Police Station for their participation and to all the responders who assisted. We would like to thank each and every person that donated and to Wescoal Mining who donated 70 blankets toward our project,” said Maureen Scheepers, operation co-ordinator for the SACCW.
