Man in wheelchair ready to break world record

In 2018 a young man was shot in an armed robbery in his house and in front of his very young daughter.

Jonty Jacobs sustained serious damage to his lungs and to his spine, paralyzed in the lower half of his body.

Jonty, a musician himself, sound engineer to the Springbok Boere Band and South African arm wrestler did not throw in the towel.

Instead he is living life to its fullest.

On Saturday, August 3 Jonty attempted to pull a truck 300m far.

This will be a new world record.

What makes this attempt so unique is that Jonty is in a wheelchair.
