Bad news follows the public meeting in Ext 8 where the director of technical services Mr Mike Lelaka addressed angry residents who demanded to know when they will have water in their taps.

Residents have been without water for more than a week.

Lelaka said the water problem in eMalahleni is not a matter that will be fixed in a few hours.

He said the municipality will start with water rationing soon.
