Three burglaries reported

Police are concerned and urged community members to reject and report stolen goods

The first burglary was at Vosman Extension 16.

A 39-year-old man reported to the police that his door was opened with an unknown object on Friday, August 2 between 20:30 and 02:30.

A television worth R4 700 and other items were taken during the robbery.

He told the police that when he went to sleep his door was locked and when he woke up to go to the toilet, he noticed that the door was opened and the items were missing.

The second incident was reported at Clewer when a door was also opened with an unknown object to gain entry into the house on Saturday, August 10 between 18:00 and 07:30.

A plasma television, a laptop and shoes were taken.

The value of all the items taken is about R18 000.

The third burglary happened at KwaGuqa in Extension 10 on Monday, August 12 at about 02:30.

It was reported that a window was forced open.

A laptop and a charger valued at R4 500 were stolen.

The victim was watching television with his sister when he heard a sound of a gate opening.

When he check he did not see anyone or anything unusual.

Later he noticed that a window was forced open and the items were taken.

No one has been arrested in all three cases and police are investigating.
