Final resting place for homeless man at an empty house
Police and the pathologist also arrived on scene, all the necessary paper work was done and his body was removed
Normally a vacant house is a great place for homeless people to spend the night to find shelter, but for one homeless person it was his final resting place.
It’s still unclear who found the homeless man on Tuesday morning, November 26 at a house in Amsterdam Street.
The homeless man was found dead on the stoep at the back of the house.
Emergency services were called to the scene to declare the person dead.
Police and the pathologist also arrived on scene, all the necessary paper work was done and his body was removed.
Fingerprints will have to be done on the person to see if they can locate his family.
The cause of death is still unknown.
