How much did it rain in your area?

The rain has been pouring hard for the past week and WITBANK NEWS asked the community on Facebook on how much rain did community members received in their areas.

The amounts of rain were provided on Friday, January 10 in the morning.

The areas and amount of rain that were supplied are Del Judor Ext 10 – 64mm, Bankenveld – 42mm, Reyno Ridge Ext 5 – 74mm, Reyno Ridge Ext 10 – 40mm, Kromdraai plots – 62mm, River Crescent Center – 95mm, Jackaroo Park – 70mm, Jackaroo plots – 80mm and in Die Heuwel Ext 1 – 59mm.

On Tuesday morning, January 14, the Witbank Dam was recorded to be at 99.3% full capacity.

Four sluice gates were opened to 400mm to release 166 cumecs.
