Witbank Police officers took to the streets on Friday, January 17 and had a total of nine arrests made regarding possession or usage of a dependence producing substance (drugs).
It is alleged that one of the arrests made was a tip off about a vehicle selling drugs in the Klipfontein area.
An officer went to a stated address and found the mentioned vehicle with a male seated inside.
He approached the driver and investigated and found that the driver failed to produce legal documents.
He also found a transparent plastic bag containing a white solid crystalline substance.
The suspect was arrested for possession of drugs and as an illegal immigrant.
SAPS is making the move to keep drugs off the streets of eMalahleni.
