“Checka Impilo: its time to end TB” is the motto that saw crowds from Lynnville community assembled at Lynnville Stadium, on Thursday, March 05 in the morning to be educated about the air transmitted bacterial disease, Tuberculosis (TB).

The Mpumalanga Department of Health MEC, Sasekani Manzini summoned the community to raise awareness about the infectious yet curable and preventable bacterial disease in preparation for the World TB Day on Tuesday, March, 24 in Nkomazi.

Mobile health facilities were also present for the community to test for various illnesses such as high blood pressure and HIV.

The focus was more pregnant women to prevent mother to child transmission.
