Missing granny is safe at home

Thembi Catherine Mthombeni was found safe and has been reunited with her family.

WITBANK NEWS earlier reported about the granny that went missing on May 6 in eMalahleni.

Thembi was recognized from social media and authorities were contacted.

“Thank you to Vosman SAPS and SACCW National technical support for their help throughout the case. We would like to thank everyone that shared the flyer and to WITBANK NEWS that continuously circulated the case in the newspaper and on their website,” said Maureen Scheepers from SACCW.

Due to the sensitivity of this case the community is asked to respect the family and their privacy as no further details can be released at this stage.
