At last, there is some reaction from the Emalahleni Local Municipality after the traffic scandal.
During a municipal council meeting held on Wednesday, September 23 the outcome of the investigation requested by the Executive Mayor, Cllr Linah Malatjie was tabled.
The traffic blunder that came to light earlier this year left the ruling party red in the face.
It was discovered that four members of the mayoral committee, one official who is employed in the mayor’s office and a member of the executive council have allegedly been instrumental in placing their family members on a list to complete the traffic officer’s course.
