Three accused in Radebe murder case granted R5 000 bail
The court had recently postponed the case to allow Accused 1 to submit her bail application after a change in her legal representation.
The three accused in the murder of Lynnville resident Vusimuzi Radebe (40) were granted bail of R5 000 each by the Emalahleni Magistrate’s Court on October 26.
Queenath Skosana (39), Nkosinathi Samkelo Masinga (31) and Lassy Phahlamohlala (42) appeared in court in connection with Radebe’s death following an alleged vigilante attack in Lynnville on September 19.
The trio had remained in custody while their bail application proceedings were repeatedly postponed, partly due to changes in their legal representation. The matter resumed on October 26, when the court granted bail to all three accused at R5 000 each.

The accused face a charge of murder arising from the death of Radebe, who was allegedly assaulted by a mob. According to police, officers responding to reports of vigilantism found Radebe lying on the ground with visible injuries. Emergency medical personnel declared him dead at the scene.
Radebe’s family has maintained that he was innocent and suggested he may have been mistaken for someone else.
