Children enjoying themselves while learning

The presentation coincided with the birthdate of one of the outstanding mathematics and physical science teachers, the late OR Tambo.

Learners from different schools together with their teachers spend some time at the OR Tambo Mathematics, Science and Technology Academy (MST) during a presentation of smart boards to the Mpumalanga Department of Education.

The presentation coincided with the birthdate of one of the outstanding mathematics and physical science teachers, the late OR Tambo. The presentation was held on Tuesday, October 27.

The learners also had a chance to tour the place. In one of the rooms, there was a robot, the smart Robobloq Mobile App. This is a smart App that controls the Robobloq Kit allowing the users to built robots, control robots and then program robots while playing. After opening the App, the users can follow the manual in the App step by step to assemble the robot and then use the official ultrasonic obstacle avoidance mode to quickly play the robot and even challenge the more advanced graphical programming to exercise the children’s logical thinking ability.

Mr Kevin Shoshore explained to the children how the robot functions. He mentioned that one has to give a command to the robot and the robot will follow instructions.

The robot has the following features:

*Integrated electronic manuals, variety of robot’s shape freely build.

*Bluetooth wireless connection, remote control your smart robot.

*A variety of official games, remote control mode, automatic obstacle avoidance mode and more play mode.

*Follow-up launch.

*Scratch graphical programming exercise children’s logical thinking while giving robots more play and support.
