SAPS is looking for two men after shooting
The missing person’s files were opened at Phola Police Station for both concerned persons.
Two men are missing after a shooting during an attempted theft mission at Kendal near Vlakfontein Mine.
Police are looking for two men who allegedly disappeared as shots were fired around them.
On Thursday, October 29 at about 10:30, both Mr Elphas Mrolintshi Shabangu and Mr Petros Mphumeleli Sithole came to Phola Police Station to report Mr Nkosinathi Simon Nkosi and Mr Goodwill Mkhuliseni Buthelezi as missing.
“Apparently, the trucking company is guarded by its own security company called “Hashtag”. Allegedly gunshots were fired towards them which led to them running in two different directions in their couples. The missing men ran in the direction of Venter & Venter farm, they were never seen again thereafter,” said Sgt Thabang Petros Ntuli, Phola Corporate Communications Official.
