Ethembeni anti-drug programme on full steam
Students who had gone through the programme were presented with certificates and some of them gave their testimonies.

Bishop Dununu Msibi in her words of encouragement said we are all sent by God, and we need to always think about His mandate.
Bishop Msibi said we must always think about God’s borrowed time, borrowed body and the borrowed life. He added to say that life is about the implementation of the mystery of life because we all are unique. He gave the example of our thumbs which are unique. He encouraged people to discover the purpose of life and not to be determined by their past and face the world with their head held high.
Messages of support were also received from different speakers.
The Executive Mayor of eMalahleni Cllr Linah Malatjie in her message of support said they need to take their steps with pride moving forward and never backward. “All of us are called upon to join hands and fight the drug problem together. We thank Bishop Zulu for his role in taking care of and introducing the anti-drug programme.
He is helping a lot of young people who are our future with the programme. Some of them have been taken out of the streets and are in the process of obtaining their driver’s licences. It is now not a place of safety, but a place of excellence, and he has our backing and support together with our MEC of social development, Thandi Shongwe.”
Mayor Malatjie also encouraged parents to support and accept back their children who have gone through the programme and said eMalahleni will never be the same.
