It is said that it takes a whole village to raise a child and that is what Steve Luvuno of Care West Foundation is doing.

Like in the previous years he took about 70 children with disabilities to the Highveld Mall at Spur for a Christmas party. The party was held on Saturday, December 5.

Executive Mayor of eMalahleni Cllr Linah Malatjie thanked the foundation for the effort and opening their hearts and going all out to look for sponsors. She also thanked Spur for hosting the event and the partnership that has been developed between them and the foundation. She urged the parents and their caregivers to take good care of the children as they are a blessing from God.

Mr Andile Ndlovu from the School of Excellence (SOE) who are one of the sponsors thanked the foundation and said they are now like a family to each other. He also urged other people to support the foundation as it was doing good work within the community and wish that God would give Luvuno more strength to complete his mission in the community.

The children had their lunch and later received presents.
