Three family members killed in Tasbet Park on Christmas Day

A woman apparently shot her boyfriend and their child before killing herself.

A 51-year old man, a woman aged 27, and their six-year-old son were found dead in their house in Besembos Street in Tasbet Park.

A man renting the flat in the yard where the tragedy played off, told police he went into the house on December 25, to wish the family a Merry Christmas and he discovered the three bodies laying on different beds in different rooms.

Forensic analysis showed that the woman apparently shot her boyfriend and their child before killing herself.

All three had shot wounds to the head.

“The motive is unknown, and the investigation is ongoing,” said Capt Eddie Hall, police spokesperson.
