As we have entered the year 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic still plagues the world. It’s truly a difficult time and globally many adjustments have been made to everyday routines.
At Afrojap Welding Skills Centre, our top priority is the safety of every individual that enters our training centre.
On arrival, everyone who enters Afrojap Welding Skills Centre’s workshop needs to wear a mask and needs to make use of our sanitiser at the entrance, and we encourage the washing of hands regularly.
Infrared temperature screening will be done regularly and screening documentation will be required to be completed.
The workshops have enough space to follow the social distancing procedure between the trainees.
“We strongly believe in uplifting the youth and helping them use the skills we impart to them to realize their value and full potential. Our quality of training ensures they are not only able to enter the labour market but are also equipped with the necessary skills to become entrepreneurs and contribute to growing the economy,” said Frans Senoamadi.
“Many trainers lack passion in their training and are more driven by money. We strive to shift the mindset of our learners from wanting to become employees to becoming employers.”

Their office has relocated to their workshop permanently and their premises with more welding bays are at Transnet properties, east of Witbank station along the railway line.
