Beit Street without water for more than a week now

Residents in Beit Street have not had water now for nine days

eMmalahleni residents are getting sick and tired of not having running water in their household taps.

Anneke Basson who lives in Beit Street, Blancheville area has been without water for nine days now.

“Either we don’t have any water or there is no water pressure. And having no water pressure is the same as having no water,” said Basson to WITBANK NEWS.

Basson explained that she goes exercising in the mornings and all she wants to do when she gets home is to take a shower. But that is impossible to do when you do not have running water.

“I can’t take it anymore. I have made contact with the municipality I don’t know how many times, but the problem has not been solved yet,” said Basson.

Residents living in Reyno Ridge area have not had water for the last two days.
