Chantel and horses are one spirit

When asked about some success stories behind Chantel and her equestrian centre, she had a lot to choose from.

Cincinnati Equestrian Centre was established in the autumn of 2019 and faced a much challenged 2020 year but fought through and is growing day by day.

The equestrian centre was founded and is owned by Chantel Krog-Edwards, one of Mpumalanga’s top dressage riders and a well-respected name in the horse industry.

Chantel has been riding competitively for 20 years. “Initially the inspiration for my equestrian centre came from the need for five-star care for my own horses in the Witbank area,” Chantel told WITBANK NEWS.

Currently, the centre has 28 riders in their ranks, some ride competitively and others recreationally. The equestrian centre offers a lot ‒ They truly have a multi-discipline yard, offering professional lessons in show jumping, dressage, showing, equitation as well as western mounted games.

When asked about some success stories behind Chantel and her equestrian centre, she had a lot to choose from.

She said: “All the stories are special. Many horses have been rehabilitated and are now doing well in their respective disciplines all over South Africa. I also played a role in teaching many riders in eMalahleni how to ride correctly and currently, several top Mpumalanga riders call my equestrian centre a home.”

Chantel keeps the riders motivated by creating a fun, relaxed and positive environment where riders can improve their skills and achieve their full potential.

Her equestrian centre welcomes all ages with their youngest being two and a half and the oldest being 59 years; horse riding truly has no limit.

Chantel said that their goal is to touch as many lives as possible while showing people the amazing grace of horses and to keep making dreams come true.

“Everyone is part of a family who inspires, motivate and support each other every step of their journeys as equestrians.”

Coming to the equestrian centre is surely the best part of any rider’s week,” she added. Her equestrian centre is one of the premier equestrian facilities in Mpumalanga.
