Two truck accidents in two days in eMalahleni on the highways.
On Wednesday, June 9 there was an accident on the N4 highway.
Trucks collided on the highway, bringing traffic to a standstill.
It’s still unclear how the collision occurred on the highway.
On Tuesday morning, June 8 at approximately 08:30 three trucks collided with one another.
It’s alleged that there was mist across that section of the road when the first truck pulled over.
The second and the third truck then collided into the first truck.
The truck driver in the second truck was treated on scene for his injuries and transported to a local hospital in eMalahleni for further treatment.
Not long after the collision, various towing services arrived on the scene to tow away the trucks and the scene was cleared.
