Beloved Vernon will be laid to rest today

Due to level 4 lockdown, only a certain amount of people can attend the service, therefore the family will live stream the service on Facebook for those who could not attend

Covid-19 cases used to be just numbers, now the numbers are no longer just numbers they are names and well-known people from our community.

Mr Vernon Strydom (48) who was fondly known by his nickname, Porkie, died on Monday, July 5 in Med Clinic in Nelspruit. Strydom was a go-getter and enjoy everything about life.

He loved his wife Ashante and his two sons Brendon (19) and Keegan (13).

His funeral will take place today, July 9 at 10:30 from the AGS Oasis Church in eMalahleni.
